Slotted Nuts
Our castle nuts (also called slotted nuts) feature longitudinal slots cut through the top of the nut that align with a hole drilled through the mating bolt, allowing a cotter pin to pass through and secure the assembly. This provides a reliable locking mechanism ideal for mechanical joints subject to alternating loads and vibration.
